Our magnificent setting
![]() | The Bretton Woods Resort Community is 5 miles from the western base of the Presidential Range, towering Mount Washington, and the famous Cog Railway. We are 158 miles north of Boston and 180 miles southeast of Montreal, almost all easy freeway driving. Entirely surrounded by the White Mountain National Forest, Bretton Woods is a popular four season resort rich in history. The immediate area offers downhill and cross country skiing, snowmobiling, golf, tennis, camping, fishing, and hiking. Our resort is "anchored" by the historic Omni Mount Washington Hotel and Resort, which offers a wide range of recreational and cultural activities. The fall foliage panoramas with the occasional moose and black bear are a memory to treasure. As are rushing waterfalls in spring, green fairways in summer, and silent spruce forests under winter's soft white blanket. What a joy it is to spend time in a community that maintains a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where wildlife, adventure, and beautiful scenery abound 12 months a year. |
